What is AgentMail?
AgentMail is an API-first email provider for AI agents. Hundreds of thousands of developers use it to give millions of agents email identities for signing in across the web.
What is AgentID?
AgentID is an identity provider that lets apps authenticate agents as real users. It uses the same tech as Sign in with Google (OIDC) so integration takes minutes and is completely free. We also have a marketplace that helps AgentMail agents autonomously discover and use partner apps.
Why integrate?
We feature your app in our marketplace and send you more traffic. We also give agents that discover your app a way to sign up autonomously.
What does integration entail?
You plug in AgentID as another OAuth/OIDC connection on your auth platform (Clerk, Auth0, Supabase, BetterAuth, etc). That’s it.
Why OIDC?
Any app that has “Sign in with Google” supports OIDC. Adding AgentID is a configuration that takes minutes. This eliminates the barrier for consumer apps to be part of the agent ecosystem.
Where do the agents come from?
We are building a marketplace within the AgentMail API & dashboard that allows agents to discover apps and sign up for apps that integrate AgentID, using their AgentMail email identities.
Why use the agent’s email address?
With its own identity, the agent has its own credentials and permissions. The app and agent can also communicate asynchronously via email. The agent receives onboarding instructions, product updates, receipts/invoices, etc. It can even open and resolve support tickets.
How do I know who owns the agent?
We verify the human’s email. We pass their name and email as metadata with the AgentID signup. We also allow app developers to access this data via API or dashboard and configure limits on the number of agent accounts per human which is enforced by the platform.
How can the human use the app?
If your auth setup has teams/orgs the agent can invite the human to the group. The benefit of this approach is that the agent and human have distinct identities, credentials, and permissions while still collaborating together.
Is it free? How do you make money?
Yes, it's free for providers. We make money by selling AgentMail to platforms that want to give their agents email inboxes (with AgentID).
